Welcome to our oceanfront villa in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! Our villa, Villa Mcfuego, is located along the breathtaking South Shore of Puerto Vallarta, just 3 miles from the bohemian charm of downtown Puerto Vallarta.
Built into the rocks overlooking the sparkling Pacific Ocean, our villa offers beach access by shared stairs with the 3 other villas in the walled residential area.
Our spacious villa is designed in traditional Mexican style, featuring terra cotta tile floors, hand-hewn wooden beams, and hand-painted tiles.
Decorated with an organic combination of antiques, hand-woven textiles, and an extensive collection of the owners’ art, from Mexican Folk art to personal collections, Villa Mcfuego is a stunning showcase of Mexican art and culture.
Enjoy a relaxing vacation in one of our three bedrooms on the lower level, all of which open to the pool terrace:
- The Master Bedroom features a king bed, ensuite bath, AC, fans, TV, safe, and ocean views. It opens to the main pool terrace, where you can soak in the sun and take in the breathtaking ocean view.
- Bedroom 2 boasts a king bed, ensuite bath, AC, fans, TV, safe, and ocean views. It also opens to the shared pool terrace.
- Bedroom 3 offers a king bed, ensuite bath, AC, fans, TV, safe, and partial ocean view. It opens to the shared pool terrace as well.

The staff was incredible and the location was beautiful. The home was very clean.
The listing did not specify that there is no air conditioning in the living room, kitchen and dining area. The listing DID specify there is air conditioning in the bedroom. Be sure you can tolerate lack of air conditioning in the living areas. The 2nd floor is open air and has a beautiful ocean view.
During my stay, we were hit by a category 4 hurricane. We lost power for a few days and did not have running water for 1.5 days. Be sure if you are booking this home you can withstand a major hurricane in an open air home on the ocean and potentially risk living without power and water for multiple days. This is obviously a unique act of nature and not the fault of the villa.
I communicated my safety concerns via the Air BnB chat feature. The host was responsive as possible despite the lack of cell service and internet.
A gem in paradise!
A girlfriend and I chose to stay at Villa Mc Fuego for our Puerto Vallarta getaway and it was the best decision we made. The Villa is very beautiful with breathtaking ocean views from every room. Fully furnished terrace with an easy access to a private beach. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The highlight of our stay was the cook Estela, not only is her cooking the best ever, but she was so warm hearted. It almost felt like a mother cooking for you. I highly recommend this place!
