Our chef will prepare two meals a day for you, breakfast and dinner, as well as light snacks for lunch from our villa’s gourmet menu. You can also request something special, and our chef will make every attempt to accommodate. Rates do not include the cost of food, beverages, or taxi fare when staff needs to make shopping trips. The chef will present you with receipts for your reimbursement.
Hacienda del Mar is located in a gated community, providing added security and privacy during your stay. Our villa also offers a butler and a housekeeper to ensure that you have a stress-free vacation. Gratuities to the staff are not included but are highly recommended as this is recommended in Mexico.

Hacienda el mar in the Sierra Del Mar gated community is a beautiful home with an A+ chef and staff. However the owner failed to disclose that she has bought the land next door and is building a home. We had a lovely Saturday and Sunday, but woke on Monday to jackhammering, gas powered chain saws and other extremely loud construction noise. The broker who handles rental of the home contacted the owner and we thought the problem had been resolved because the work stopped. The next day it began again. Thankfully, the broker found us another home and we moved out on Wednesday. We believe Vrbo should fine the owner, or something similar. She clearly knew about the construction- she was the one doing it! Yet she advertised her rental as a quiet retreat. And it was wonderful that the broker was able to get us into an equally beautiful home- we feel that we should be compensated for the hassle an inconvenience/ interruption of our vacation.
This is a great getaway where you can be catered to for all your needs. Great view and accommodations could not be any better.

Gabriel and David who manage the home were amazing to work with. Due to COVID we had to adjust our stay and they were awesome during that whole process. They are very friendly and easy to work with. The house itself is GORGEOUS. I cannot stress how incredible the views are and how lovely the house is. The photos are incredibly accurate and you can tell they take pride in this home. The real gem is the staff though. Manuel, Ernesto, and Adrianna left us wanting nothing our entire trip. They were always there when we needed something but never invasive. In fact, we referred to Adrianna as a ninja since she cleaned things so quickly and stealthily. Fresh margaritas, the incredible green sauce, immaculate rooms, and great service were abundant. They will book cars for you, prepare snacks, serve drinks, and are generally just lovely people. As you can tell, we all miss the house and especially the gracious staff tremendously. This is true luxury.
