Are the meal included in the rental prices?

No. The Villa cooking service includes two meals a day, either breakfast and lunch or lunch & dinner (approx 8 hrs of service) please note that F&B are not included, those are paid by guests. A third meal is avaiable for an extra cost, please ask with anticipation for the cost as the Staff has to perform the shopping and needs a bit of heads up.
All guest must decide in the same combination for food, all meals are served “family style,” with the same appetizer, main course, and dessert for all guests,, certain exceptions can be made for those with food allergies, intolerance or children.

What is the average or aproximate cost of F&B?

A general estimate is about $250 – $300 per Adult per week for two meals a day, depending on consumption of expensive seafood or imported liquors. However, please consider this only a general estimate, the cost varies from group to group.

Accounting & Payments for groceries

The cook will turn in receipts for all food & beverages, along with any taxi charges she has incurred. It is best to advance the cook enough money for 2-3 days of shopping, so that you will not have to make daily ransactions.
Staff will present receipts from stores the day of your arrival, please reimburse what has been spent so far and go over the next days and meal services of your stay.

Gratuites

Tipping of the villa/household employees is customary in Mexico. The amount of tips would depend on your length of stay, the service, the number of guests, special service and so forth. We receive many wonderful comments about the service at our villas. We are, frequently asked how much to tip and have established a guideline that may be of help to you. An amount of $20.00 to $25.00 per guest/per day seems to be the average gratuity. Or, if you prefer, up to 15-20% of your total accommodation expenses as a total to the villa staff is also customary divided among the staff.

An amazing, large palapa covers the main living area, and a fully stocked bar invites you to enjoy a refreshing cocktail prepared by our skilled staff while settling into a vacation experience you’ll never forget.

The villa offers guests spacious terraces that provide breathtaking views. A private stairway off the sun deck leads guests to the white sandy beach with chaise lounges and a cabana for guests’ convenience. With a full staff villa, we cater to your every need. Our staff includes a houseman, maid, and cook available six days a week.

The villa’s English-speaking on-site manager oversees the staff and both villas. We provide guests with three meals daily, including breakfast, a light lunch, and dinner. All meals are optional, and food is not included in the rate. Our manager, Juan, will go over daily menus with all guests, and the staff will shop for the ingredients, with receipts provided.

At Casa Salinas I, we offer a range of amenities that include a private sandy beach where guests can play, swim, and enjoy a BBQ. You can also enjoy the heated infinity pool, which offers fantastic ocean views. The villa is equipped with satellite TV and WiFi throughout, and free calls to the USA via Vonage. Both villas are air-conditioned, and the water is purified.

For those special occasions, we can arrange for mariachis, manicures, pedicures, birthday cakes, flowers, and more – just let us know your needs. Charter our boat for fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, or sightseeing around the bay – Juan is a great captain and knows all the best spots. Golf, tennis, and family-fun activities are within a short drive, and children are welcome. We provide cribs and highchairs, and childcare can be arranged.

The flow of the villa works well for large groups and provides spacious entertaining areas; the pool and palapa are surrounded by lush tropical gardens for complete privacy, with a large sunny patio around the pool next to a covered veranda with dining and seating area facing the ocean. The upper terrace has sweeping views and offers the perfect place to enjoy the sunset or lounge away the afternoon in the shade of the pergola. Both upper and lower terraces are wired for sound.

Staff

“Nuestra Casa es su casa” is the traditional Mexican Welcome to guests, meaning “Our home is your home”. We hope you will feel this is your home while staying at Casa Las Amapas. The helpful staff is here to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Enjoy all that Casa Las Amapas has to offer, enjoy the staff, their meals, their delicious drinks, the entire service, enjoy Paradise.

Lupita – Is responsible for preparation of 2 meals each day, either Breakfast and Lunch or Breakfast and Dinner. This service includes shopping, preparation, serving and clean up, cost of food and beverages not included. You will find Lupita pretty easy to work with, just let her know what you have in mind and she will make that happen. Please ask to see the Casa Las Amapas menu for meal planning; also read information under “FOOD SERVICE”

Raul – Acts as a butler/waiter and is at the villa in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon/evening; he will carry your luggage to your room, help serve meals and make drinks. Please ask him to show you where all the lights and fans, indoor and outdoor, can be turned on. He is also in charge of the pool area, so please let him know if you need the pool heater turned on. Israel – Acts as a butler/waiter and is at the villa in the afternoon and sometimes in the morning/afternoon; he will carry your luggage to your room, help serve meals and make drinks. Please ask him to show you where all the lights and fans, indoor and outdoor, can be turned on. He is also in charge of the pool area, so please let him know if you need the pool heater turned on.

Olga – Is responsible for all general indoor housekeeping, cleaning bathrooms, making and changing beds and laundry of all house linens. **Personal laundry can also be done after 4pm, please ask Olga how to use the washer & dryer (at your own risk – if you wish Olga or Rafael can help you and they tend to be very free with bleach) please tip for this service because is not included, they will appreciated.

Juan Antonio – Is on site from 8pm to 7am. He will also acts as a waiter sometimes, help serve meals and make drinks. On Sundays he will be all day at the villa and he will be so glad to help you prepare a light breakfast, snacks for middle day such as guacamole, salsa, quesadillas, etc. and drinks.
